As a Guatarican, (that's' Guatemalan and Puerto Rican), my unique and individualistic outfits were inspired by my mother’s creativity and indigenous roots. As early as high school, I began my crusade to become the Latina voice of fashion and entertainment. At the time, my technique to fuse vintage with key designer pieces from my wardrobe collection was considered innovative. Loaning outfits for a fee amongst friends made me a sensation. As a result, I appeared onto the first American W Magazine in 1990, featured for my stylish youthful look[Coffee and Poetry In Los Angeles, California’s Café Scene].

A bohemian at heart, my look reflects diversity. Influenced by my education at CAL, I became interested in socially concious issues. And, I was honored with the publication of my thesis entitled, “Puerto Rican’s Actors Problems in Film and Theatre in America”. Meanwhile, it also appeared in Drama textbooks by Professor Mel Gordon in 1993. Soon after graduating from the prestigious University of California Berkeley, I began my career as a fashion stylist and costume designer. In 2001, I was one of the youngest and first Latina members of the Costume Designer’s Guild of America, which forever formed my identity as an artist and buisness person. By continueing to gain exposure and positive press for my work in motion pictures such as "Wannabes" featured in FHM Magazine, September 2001, I have left a lasting impression on the industry. The New York Times, Time Out New York, as well as VIBE called my work, “authentic and …creative, stylistic” in 1998 for TAR and again for “The Other Brother” in 2003. Having appeared on television shows, my opinion on trends in fashion can be heard on “I Can't Believe I Wore That” for the WE Network. Inspiring fashion collections via emergent trends while fashion branding onto television and film screens were among my earliest entrepreneurial engagements in entertainment. Now, parlaying fashion styling for business, I paved the way for future indie projects as Executive Product Placement Producer. Dubbed as standard practice among other media experts, I have helped brands such as Costume Nacional land front and center to thier target audience. As a result, these labels have become decorated for superiority among thier dominating fans. By following good instincts, I managed properties through the media and core audiences across international distribution. Meanwhile, I am determined to continue to work on multiple businesses that will leave in impact on American Pop Culture as the voice of a Hispanic pioneer and entrepreneur.
